Small furries

Lincs Ark rescues and rehomes mainly cats and kittens, but also small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, etc too. These animals are cared for by individual Fosterers until they find a loving permanent home. When necessary, we also use carefully selected local catteries.
We never put a healthy animal to sleep. Animals taken in by the rescue are looked after until a new home can be found for them.

Do you think you may be able to offer a rescued animal a home?

Lady Gertrude

Lady Gertrude

Lady Gertrude, aka Gertie, is looking for her 'knight in shining armour'.  Gertie is a chinchilla Rex and came to us underweight and underfed.  She now has the correct food and as much of it as she wants.  Gertie is thought to be between 2.5 and 3 years old, as of Dec 17 and is neutered and fully vaccinated.  She is a very elegant, friendly lady who likes to be stroked and spend time chilling out with the bunnies next door, although she has not mixed with them.  She will use a litter tray and keeps her bed clean.  Gertie loves to dig so a digging box is vital.  She has dug a burrow which she will spend time in.  She is a very intelligent lady and needs an enclosure that will keep her occupied and out of mischief.  Do you have a lovely boy bunny looking for an adorable Lady?

Baby bunnies

We have three boys and three girls either fully white or grey. As of mid-November, they are approx ten weeks old.  They are vaccinated and will neutered once old enough. They are used to being handled and are very sweet little buns.

Sooty

Sooty

Sooty is not only a handsome fellow but also on the look out for a girlfriend! He is nearly two years old and is neutered and vaccinated. He does not like to be stroked or handled so needs a home where this can be respected. Do you have the time and the space to add this lovely little boy to your family?

Socks

Cute but not so cuddly. This little fella is nearly two and is neutered, vaccinated and ready for a new home. He isn't keen on being stroked or handled and it is important his new family respect this.

Ollie

Hi, I'm Ollie.

I've been neutered and vaccinated against nasty things and am five months old.

I am quite friendly but could be even more friendly if you give me more of your time.

I like to jump on things and play with toys. I'm sure I would get along with a lovely lady Bunny.

If you think I'm the one for you, please give us a call.

Grace and Vivienne

These are a pair of dutch girls from the photo of four attached.

They are approx 1 year old, quite small and sweet girls who need to be rehomed together.

Inquisitive and enjoyable to watch, they would make lovely addition to any family. Both are neutered and vaccinated.

Teddy and Smudge

Teddy and Smudge

Teddy and Smudge are around 3 years old. They are big boys. A little shy at first but come round. Smudge is tri colour and has longer fur than Teddy. Teddy is part Silver Aguoti guinea pig. Both are lovely boys but can be dominant with other piggies. They would prefer to go to their forever home together. They have both been neutered.

Edward & Esme - BEEN WAITING OVER A YEAR

Hi everyone !! My name is Esmae and I am a Lionhead X. I was born in March 2012 and I live with my dad Edward who I love very much so we definitely need to be rehomed together. Edward was born September 2011 and is also neutered and vaccinated.

We are very friendly and love lots of attention, Edward usually falls asleep when our foster carers are smoothing him down. We aren't very fond on being picked up though.

Our main diet is hay and we are more than happy to have some vegetables, grass and herbs, and if you have dandelions they are our favourite. I even love to eat stinging nettles! We do use our litter trays but not all the time and we are very good at going in and out of our cat flap.

We are excellent diggers and have made ourselves a burrow which we sometimes chill out in. Our foster carer says we can keep it as we haven't attempted to escape. We are used to a large area that we always have access to and therefore it important that our new home is a great size too.

Are you looking for 2 adorable bunnies like me and my dad? We sadly are often over looked due to our age but we've heard that we deserve a happy ever after still.

April & May - BEEN WAITING OVER A YEAR

We are April and May, 2/3 year old females and we just love attention.

We have both been neutered and vaccinated and keep our foster carer grinning with our amusing antics.

If you can fit us into your home we promise to keep you smiling.
